This book analyses the professional journey, achievement and importance of BR Chopra, one of the most important industrial and creative figures of Indian cinema. Drawing upon various theories and researches in Cinema Studies, the book intends to examine BR Chopra’s life and woks, and to survey the notion of authorship placing it at the intersection of auteur studies and industrial studies through the personality of the Producer-Director.
