The author is a postgraduate in English,Punjabi, Education andMass Communication.He has done hisdoctorate in lmstudies from Guru Nanak Dev UniversityAmritsar. He has been awardedhonorary doctorate degree in Punjabi.He has also been honoured withhonorary degree of D. Lit. in Journalismand Mass Communication byCommonwealth Vocational University,Tonga. He has contributed greatly inInternational Research Journals and hehas authored 16 books on Media andallied subjects so far. He has teachingexperience of working for 28 years invarious universities. Presently he isworking as a Professor in Journalism andMass Communication in Ch. Devi LalUniversity, Sirsa (Haryana). Prior toteaching he has worked as a sub-editor.He is a renowned Radio Presenter, StageAnchor, Orator and Public speaker.
