Antirrhinum, commonly known as snapdragons, produce small, round, and flattened seeds. They are typically dark brown to black and measure about 1/16 to 1/8 inch (1.5 to 3 mm) in diameter. The seeds are smooth and often have a slightly shiny surface. Due to their small size, they are usually sown on the surface of the soil or lightly covered. Snapdragons require light for germination, so it's best not to bury the seeds deeply. They generally germinate well in cooler temperatures and are often started indoors before being transplanted outside.
