The information presented in this handbook is broken down according to a buildings major components starting with a look at the building site and the factors that should be considered before deciding on a building location and orientation.Following this is a brief description of the physical building and its major components and how they relate to one another.Each succeeding chapter then discusses a major system or component according to structural geomatry and type of building material  from how each component is constructed to how each interfaces with adjoining components.The last chapter and the appendix provides reference information on building materials and space planning.
