The sole purpose of writing the present book “Bundelkhand Mein Stri Ka Vikas (1947 Se Awatan Tak)” is that even today there is a great lack of material on women education in Bundelkhand. Through this book, we want to provide a reference book on women education in simple and interesting language to researchers and readers who have a love for Bundelkhand region. A book full of knowledge is useless for a person without curiosity and intelligence, just like a mirror studded with gems is useless for a blind person… it is of no use to him. This curious and intelligent person finds the same interest in a book full of knowledge as Majnu finds in Laila or Farhad finds in sweets. He lives each and every page of it and drinks each and every sentence, gets restless in its words, cherishes its imaginations, he gets restless in its absence, and dances on its presence. On finding it, every pore of his body gets thrilled, and his soul gets overwhelmed with emotions. While writing this book, the author's heartfelt desire and only prayer to God was that this book should never be touched by the hands of a person without curiosity and this book should look beautiful in the hands of intellectuals in the same way as Sudarshan in the hands of Shri Krishna standing on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.Everyone loves his words and his son but their importance can be assessed only by the place they get in the civilized society.
