About The Authors Clifford J. Schexnayder is an Eminent Scholar Emeritus, Arizona State University. He is also a construction engineer and an author. Clifford is also the author of Construction Management Fundamentals. Dr. Schexnayder received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology, and his PhD from Purdue University. His experience in construction engineering spans over 40 years. He also teaches construction engineering at various universities, including Virginia Tech, Louisiana Tech, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and Arizona State University. Robert Peurifoy is a Consulting Engineer in Austin, Texas. Robert is also the author of Formwork for Concrete Structures. During World War II, Robert served as principal specialist in engineering education for the U.S. Office of Education. In 1946, he began teaching construction engineering at Texas A&M University. Aviad Shapira is an Associate Professor at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Israel. The other book written by Aviad Shapira is Concrete Construction Engineering Handbook. After receiving his BSc, MSc, and DSc degrees in Civil Engineering from the Technion, Aviad spent one year as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Shapira’s research interests include construction engineering and management, construction equipment, construction safety, project planning, and formwork for concrete.
