As a first step a well-rounded book on Employability skills has been published.The twenty chapters of the book are divided in three main sections of Personal, Mentored and Group skills. Each section has several chapters about which the following paragraphs will cover a brief summary. The first section of personal skills focuses on all round skills that a fresh student must acquire before (s)he steps into the corporate journey. This section has detailed chapters on skills related to Personal Development, Interpersonal Skills, Research, Data and Business Analysis, Written and Verbal Communication, Presentation,Listening, Proposal & Report Writing, IT Trends and SocialNetworking, Competitive Intelligence,Negotiation and Handling Criticism and maintaining Social Etiquettes. All chapters cover detailed steps on how to acquire, manage and enhance these skills leading to corporate success.The second section is those skills that require guidance under the section Mentored skills. These are skills which come by observation and being an apprentice with a mentor. This section has chapters on Leadership, Motivation, Decision Making and Problem Solving. Each of the chapters has well-articulated doable prescription which are easy to use and adopt. Finally the last section covers skills related with Group Behavior. As these students step in the real world they need to be a team player and not just individual contributors that they have been during their education years. The chapters in the last but a very important section covers Skills on Team Work/Managing Teams, Networking and how to present all these abilities in the Final Interview. This book which has come up at a very opportune time is a small step in this direction to help millions of students and faculties with a deep content on this subject.
