About the Book:Toni Morrison, the Nobel Laureate, is a much loved author in India and her writings have widespread appeal for our diverse pluralistic sensibilities. Her language is powerful and stirring and her themes of gender, race, myth, culture and history arouse the human communion with the self and the world. To read Morrison is to enrich one's vision and understanding of the present through her narratives of the past.
