Critically Annotated Poetry is the third generation of its kind, its predecessors being Critical Studies from Elizabethan to Romantic Poetry (Woven Words, 2017), which was the expanded work from the earlier work Critical Studies in Poetry: From Elizabethan to Romantic Age (Notion Press, 2016). This book is one of a series of books, offering critically annotated poems on various periods of English literature. This book deals with Paradise Lost, Book I and The Rape of the Lock, Cantos I-III, which are studied by English Hons. students in India and other countries. The book provides detailed annotations on the same page as the text, and also contains helpful illustrations.
