This multi authored book covers a wide range of problems faced in annual and tree crops under acid soils. Efforts have been made to summarize the latest research findings in a concise form to improve productivity of crops grown on acidic soils. The scope of information exchange in acidic soil is evaluated and it is emphasized how large scale cultivation in acid affected soils impacts food security and how the problem can be resolved scientifically. The information contained in this book would prove very useful to the researchers, teachers and students engaged in sustainable crop production under acidic environment.
