This is a November maturity group cauliflower developed through simple recurrent selection in a local material known as ‘Agahani’ at Pantnagar. It has been released by both U.P. and central variety release committees in 1995. It has medium long stem, sparse, semi-erect leaves, hemispherical creamish-white, medium compact, non-ricey curds.It takes 115-120 days for marketable curds after nursery sowing and is about 15 days earlier in maturity than Improved Japanese, the standard check cultivar. It yields about 140 q/ha net marketable curds as compared to about 120 q/he net marketable curds of Improved Japanese.
