Danny the Champion of the World: Plays for Children is a collection of nine lively plays for children based on the popular Danny, the Champion of the World. Summary of the Book Danny lives with his widowed father, William, in a gypsy caravan. His father works at a small village police station. Danny and his dad find themselves plotting against the nasty a greedy, Victor Hazell. Kids will get a chance to be a part of devilish plots that Danny and his dad come up with. Some of the plays included in the book can be performed with as little as three actors, while some work better with a whole class.
