My father died at the very young age of 49. I had an epiphany as we carried his body to the cemetery. Grief tends to focus the mind. People get varied insights at a crematorium, especially when bidding farewell to someone close. However, this awareness is left behind the moment one steps out, as ‘death’ is left behind and ‘life’ takes over. It is akin to appreciating ‘light’ only when you are in ‘darkness’. Yet, the moment the light is switched on, we tend to forget all we experienced when we were in the darkness. In this book, I have given words to those revelations. I have tried to explain darkness to you while you are in light and help you understand how to live life from the perspective of death. But then, these learnings are exceedingly difficult to teach as these are experiential, like an electric shock.
