About The Author: Dr. D.K. Lal Das, is Director, Research Centre, R.M. College of Social Work, Hyderabad. Prior to the present assignment, Dr. Lal Das was Principal at the College. Dr. Lal Das, a social work research educator, has had a career long interest in research education and practice. He has been teaching research courses to graduate, postgraduate and research students for over three decades. Dr. Lal Das has a number of books and research papers to his credit. He has authored six books so far in the areas of personnel management and research. His first fullscale venture into social research was “Practice of Social Research: A Social Work Perspective.” The book has received widespread adoption at both the graduate and the postgraduate levels. Dr. Lals Das published more than 20 research papers in major referred journals including Indian Journal of Social Work, Indian Journal of Industrial Relations, Social Change, Loyola Journal of Social Sciences, and Contemporary Social Work.
