A Christological basis is sought by studying the significance of ecological images as found in the mission of Jesus, drawing implications for the missiological importance of ecology in Christian mission. However, in arguing for eco-justice Rev. Thomas Mathew does not lose sight of the social justice concerns, he makes both of these concerns as two sides of the same coin with sound scriptural basis thus making his presentation holistic in understanding and approach.
