The series is presentation and analysis of secondary data and information which is available in the public domain and contributors’ calculation on this extensive data mining. This is the first of the series titled Economic Deprivation in Rural West Bengal Contours and Trajectories. This monograph has focussed on rural poverty and deprivation in terms of income, consumption, time and multidimensional aspects of education, health and basic amenities of life.
