This book “Electrical Machines” has been written with specific aim of introducing basic principles and operations of Machines. This book is strictly written in accordance with the syllabus of Electronics, Computer, Instrumentation and I.T. Diploma courses of Haryana, Punjab, Himachal and Delhi State Board of Technical Education and other States also. The purpose of this text book should be to encourage the readers and to create interest in the subject rather than to provide a compact material for cramming and passing the examination only and this point has been kept in mind while writing this book. Objective Type Questions have also been given at the end of each chapter to help the students to prepare for the competitive examination.
