The book is divided into four sections. Section one covers emerging issues in Indian financial markets withtopics related to recent developments and challenges of Indian financial markets. The demographic, spiritualand ethical factors which affect investment decisions of the Indian investor have been discussed. Variousstrategies to understand and explore investor behaviour have also been covered. The impact of the financialmeltdown on Indian economy and creditworthiness of BRIC nations have been discussed in this section.Section two focusses on Indian capital markets and developments related to it. It covers chapters related to the impact of foreign investment on stock markets, potential for growth in the Indian bond market. Relevance of Black Scholes Option Pricing Model, effi cient market hypothesis, event studies and predicting stock marketcrashes have also been covered. Section three relates to the Indian banking industry and challenges related to it.
