This great adventure begins when Banani and Subhashish learned that they were pregnant. With the joyous news, began the celebrations- a celebration of love and prosperity. The bond that was already there grew even stronger with this new phase, something they cherished and treasured all throughout the journey. Having said that, those nine months were not at all a bed of roses. It was filled with varied emotions, grief, and deprivation.The story takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride, starting with learning the happy news and sharing the impending arrival of the little one with their extended family. The couple went through bouts of happiness, anxiety, and nervousness during the routine check-ups but the joy they got while their baby was developing in the womb was unbeatable. Any expectant mother goes through a lot of changes in her body but the hormones took Banani by storm. Whatever happened in their lives, Banani and Subhashish never let it come in their way. They waited eagerly for the Ultrasound tests, just to catch a glimpse of their baby. This tiny being made them smile with its tiny movements.In the midst of such joyous moments, came the news of Subhashish's father passing away. Grief engulfed the whole family. Unfortunately, Banani couldn't attend the funeral rituals and had to stay back alone in Bangalore. The time she spent alone made her feel lonely but definitely, it left her stronger. This separation made the days tougher for both. It was a month of absolute misery before both could be united. But it finally ended with Banani throwing herself into Subhashish's arms. Subhashish was strong-hearted and despite his loss came back to normal after a few days. He started caring for his wife wholeheartedly. They started enjoying the long walks, midnight talks, food cravings, reminiscing their childhood memories and the late night movies which they had missed so much. He looked and felt the part of a doting husband and a responsible father. Banani, too, supported him and tried to be his spine. Few months passed by, Subhashish's days were choc-a-bloc with his corporate responsibilities. Because of his busy schedule, they seldom could talk and spend time with each other. However, they somehow made up for it on the weekends. It was then when they decided to have a babymoon, to fall in love all over again.The Babymoon was leisurely and they enjoyed it to the core. The journey brought them close, they didn't want to be back home and wished to stay for more! As the days passed by, Banani went through numerous physical and mental challenges. The countdown had begun to the baby's welcome. But the big day came as a surprise for them and they were not prepared for it. Thankfully, the delivery was smooth and it was because of Banani's patience and Subhashish's extreme support. This story is not just about the birth of a baby. It is the story of how a tiny creature can strengthen the bonds and make its parents fall madly in love once again.
