Published in 2008, Engineering Electromagnetics is ideal for understanding the basics of the complex field of electromagnetism. Summary Of The Book Written in a simplistic style and filled with examples, Engineering Electromagnetics is a reference book for people studying electromagnetism. Engineering Electromagnetics includes numerous topics and each topic comes with an exercise at the end, which includes various problems and questions. In total, the book has over 600 problems at the end of each chapter. What makes the book different from any other is that it focuses deeply on the application of electromagnetic and mathematical problems, instead of merely leaving the reader only with various theoretical explanations. No topic is presented without its application basis or its relevance to another topic. Engineering Electromagnetics includes a new chapter that introduces numerical methods into the electromagnetic curriculum, and discusses the concepts of finite element, finite difference, and moment methods. It is ideal for numerous competitive examinations such as the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) and the Indian Engineering Service (IES) exams. The examples in the book and the precise, clear-cut explanations make it student-friendly. The book has topics that cover two semesters. Anybody with a basic knowledge of calculus can also use this book for self-study.
