On my 7th birthday, we set off for a picnic to Ooty in our red Ford Escort, excited to visit my granny. As we drove, holding my stuffed bunny, our trip took a tragic turn when a dog ran in front of our car, causing my mom to accidentally hit a woman and her son on a bicycle.
