The study in this book seeks to demystify the productive role of farm women in agriculture and related enterprises. About the Author P.G. Reddy, Associate Professor in Agricultural Extension, is currently working as Deputy Director of Extension, Directorate of Extension, ANGR, Agricultural University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. He has put in 22 years of service in ANGR Agricultural University working in various capacities in Field Extension, Training, Research, Teaching and Administration. He also worked as Associate Professor in Extension Education Institute, a regional training institute of Government of India under ANGRAU, where he trained the middle level Extension Functionaries of Line (Development) Departments of Southern India. Dr. Reddy has guided post-graduate students leading to M.Sc and Ph.D. in Extension Education. He has published a dozen research papers in various journals of national repute. He has visited Federal Republic of Germany to participate in Appropriate Management and Promotion of Self-Help Organisation during 1993. His areas of specialisation are Development Communication & Media Strategy; Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA); Monitoring & Evaluation of Agricultural Programmes and Farming Situation based Extension.
