The purpose of this volume to present in as simple and concise a manner as is possible the most important facts concerning the nutrition feeding care and management of the various classes of farm animals. Also full information is given concerning the composition use and value of all important feeding stuffs. Part I presents briefly the fundamental principles of animal nutrition and emphasizes the bearing of these principles upon the practical feeding of livestock. Part II gives comprehensive information concerning the composition properties and use of all important feeding stuffs. The information concerning the value of each feed for all the classes of livestock is brought together in the respective chapters of Part II.
