The book attempts a critical analysis of the poetry of three significant modern American poets Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton and Adrienne Rich from a feminist perspective. These women poets transcend the conventional literary and ideological norms in order to create a woman-centred universe. The study explores the different routes through which they arrive at a poetics of feminist experience.
