The poems in the collection Flowers and Weeds were written mostly as postscripts/ attachments to e-mail communication with my friends and colleagues at home and abroad, those separated by 6.6 degrees, during the past few years whenever the topic went beyond the usual “Hello! How are you? Long time, no see”; or they were offshoots of those exchanges saved to my personal files on my laptop. They are brought here together in the volume as they are likely to be of interest to the general reader.
