Sabina Anand's debut novel, Forbidden Earth, finds humans battling biological computers who drove them off the planet. Summary of the Book In 3060 A.D., there are no humans on Earth. Those who remained after the purge by the Biological Computers, modified beings who are almost human except for the changes in their DNA, live in a spaceship, in space, where the BCs can't get them. Macey, a teenager who has never set foot on Earth, is overjoyed when the spacecraft lands on Forbidden Earth, the only place on the planet where the BCs can't get them, and she is soon kidnapped by the creatures. The act could set off another war, and this time, there may be no more human survivors. However, an unlikely hero comes to Macey's rescue, a BC by the name of Dylan who finds the humans fascinating. If Dylan and Macey fail to end the war which seems to bubble into being once again, all will be lost, including the future they dream of sharing together.
