The book titled “General Principles of INSURANCE LAW” is primarily an effort to bringforth the underlying statutory provisions and related judicial interpretation pertaining to insurance law in India in a comprehensive and lucid manner. The nature and essence of an insurance, general principles of insurance, the several classes of insurance, formation of contract of insurance, maturity of claims and payment thereof etc., are the aspects which have been taken up in the book.
