The book on Geoinformatics is useful for the students of undergraduate level from different universities who are studying the various courses on Remote Sensing Geographical Information System and Global Positioning Systems. The target readers of the book on Geoinformatics are the students of B. Tech. (Civil Engineering), IVth Semester, GBTU, Lucknow. and MMTU, Noida. The book is divided into five units as per syllabus of GBTU, Lucknow and MMTU, Noida. Each unit contains adequate text supported by number of self explanatory figures and tables. A number of review questions are provided at the end of each unit. About The Author Anuj Kumar Purwar is currently working as Assistant Professor & Head in the Department of Civil Engineering at Skyline Institute of Engineering & Technology Greater Noida (UP). He obtained his BE Degree from Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur (Now MNIT, Jaipur) and M.Tech. degree from National Institute of Technology, Allahabad. He is pursuing Ph.D. from MNNIT, Allahabad. His research interests are Environmental Engineering, GIS & Remote Sensing and Surveying. He has published research papers in National Journals.
