Literature is great also because of its universal appeal.  It fulfils its objective in a big way because it deals with the society of man as a whole apart from dealing with a specific community. This book highlights the real interest of literature, i.e. to appeal to the widest human interests and the simplest emotions besides including local ethos.  It aims to surpass the local or national boundary and to accept the universal elements of human beings. This anthology attempts to showcase different perspectives of writers living in different parts of the globe.  It presents a kaleidoscopic view of different literatures and provides a direction to the future researches in different literatures in English, especially Indian Literature. About the Author Capt. Dr. Arvind M. Nawale (b. 29th November 1971), is Head, Department of English, Shivaji Mahavidyalaya, Udgir, Maharashtra. He has been teaching English language and literature since 1995. He is university recognized Research Supervisor and also on the panel of external referee of a few universities. He has presented a number of research papers and chaired several national and international seminars and world conferences.  Dr. Amrendra K. Sharma (b.31th Dec. 1954), is Assistant Professor, Department of Languages and Translation, Dhofar University, Salalah, Oman. He has a wide teaching experience of about three decades in India and abroad. At present, he is teaching Linguistics, ELT and Advanced Writing. He published a book entitled Teaching and Testing Grammar and a large number of papers in the areas of ELT, Linguistics and Indian writings in English.
