Author - Dr. Sarojini Sahoo is a distinguished bilingual South Asian feminist writer, an associate editor of a feature oriented English journal Indian AGE, and a regular columnist in The New Indian Express. She has been conferred with the Orissa Sahitya Academy Award, 1993, the Jhankar Award, 1992, the Bhubaneswar Book Fair Award and the Prajatantra Award. Kindle magazine of Kolkata has enlisted her among 25 exceptional women of India. In English, one novel and two anthologies of short stories have been published to her credit so far. Bengali translation of two of her novels have been published from Bangladesh and in Oriya, there are eight short stories collections and eight novels in published form to her credit. She is also a known blogger and has gained world wide fame for her ideas in feminism. Her Blogs are Sense and Sensuality, FEMININE-FRAGRANCE and INDIA. About The Translator - Prof. Suman Mahapatra joined as a Lecturer in English under O.E.S. on 21. 08. 1972, and the major part of his teaching career was spent in two century-old institutions of Odisha, Ravenshaw College, Cuttack, and Khallikote College, Berhampur, and in another old college S.C.S. College, Puri. He became Professor in English, Ravenshaw University on 17. 03. 2007 and then the Director of Higher Education, Odisha from 31. 03. 2008 till his retirement from Government service on 30. 06. 2009. Dr. Mahapatra has immensely contributed towards the teaching of English grammar and language with his books. Now he is actively engaged in research guidance and translation.
