Summary of the Book In the distant future, a band of extraterrestrial vagabonds group together to find a legendary artefact: the fabled shield of Captain America. This group consists of the telekinetic Vance Astro, alien archer Yondu, flame-haired Mercurian Nikki, superstrong Jovian Charlie-27, crystalline Plutonian Martinex, the mysterious Starhawk and his wife Aleta. Together, these heroes must face a diabolical foe, the menacing alien cyborgs called the Stark, the lone remnants of Iron Man’s disastrous legacy. They must also face off against the Force, a band of intergalactic thieves.
