The “Handbook for A complete building Engineer” as the title says is meant to cover all aspects of a building construction activities except the design part which itself shall need a book. While working as Assistant Engineer, Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer and finally as Chief Engineer, it was noticed that Engineers from different streams working for a building such as Civil, Electrical, Air conditioning , acoustics, fire detection and protection system remain totally concerned with their field only. It is felt that basic knowledge of all aspects must be there to a building Engineer.The building Engineer is also required to do valuation, fight arbitration cases and carry out maintenance work after the building is put to use. A customer will give his requirements, land and funds and he would like to get a finally finished building in all respects. An effort has been made to equip a Building Engineer to meet different situations effectively.
