Haroun and the Sea of Stories is a children’s book written by Salman Rushdie. Haroun Khalifa is the son of a famous storyteller called Rashid. His mother Soraya leaves home for Mr. Sengupta, their neighbour. About Salman Rushdie Salman Rushdie is an Indian-born British novelist and essayist. He is best known for his Booker Prize winning novel Midnight’s Children.
