In historical records, little was written about women. Most researchers back thenwere Western men, projecting a white male perspective on the past as well. Oneof the greatest blunders that these accounts made was with the Indian woman—she was thrown out of context, misunderstood, and misrepresented, leading women'shistory to be half-cooked, one sided and overpowered by His story. It is made from astandpoint acknowledging that everything was not gold in the past, there wereproblems but not everything was bad too. Hopefully, with this book the reader maylearn of practices and people that were way ahead of their time, establishinggroundbreaking standards on women empowerment, gender equality, sexuality andequality in general.
