About the Authors Mazen Abdel-Salam is a Professor and Chairperson of the Electrical Engineering department at Assiut University, Egypt. He was honored with the National Prize and the Excellence Prize from the Egyptian Academy of Science and Technology. Hussein Anis is a Professor in the Electrical Power and Machines Department at Cairo University, Giza, Egypt. He was honored with the Egyptian National Award in Scientific Distinction. He received his BSc degree from Cairo University and his Master's and PhD from McGill University, Canada. Ahdab El-Morshedy is a Professor in the faculty of Engineering at Cairo University, Egypt. The recipient of the Egyptian State Prize in Engineering Sciences, Dr. Morshedy has authored several books and scientific papers. Roshdy Radwan is a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University. He completed his BSc degree from Cairo University and his PhD from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, England.
