This is a DIY kit. Children can easily connect the parts easily. Traffic light or traffic signal is used to control the vehicles to cross the particular area or road. It consist of Red, yellow, green LEDs, press switches, battery etc. In this project, three side signal is used. In each side one red, one yellow and one green LEDs are connected. Connect all the negative sides of LEDs together and connect directly with negative terminal of the battery. Take the positive of one red LED from one side, one yellow LED from another side and one green LED in third side. Add 470 ohms resistance for better performance. Connect the three ends together and connect with the positive end of a 9V battery through a press switch. Now do the same work for other LEDs. Now fix the LEDs gently. When one press switch is pressed, red LED from one side and yellow LED f rom other side and green LED from the third side glows. This way we can use the other press switches for other sides. No Soldering required. All connections are made with male and female jumper wires of same colour. Check the color of the wires correctly and then connect.
