Focusing on the COVID-19 global pandemic, this books examines the global unpreparedness to the crisis, as well the inequal struggle across the world to deal with it. As those in power found it difficult to handle the virus, certain small and efficient countries governed by engineers and/or economics gladly listened to their medical specialists and better protected their people.
