The book immortal Empresses is exceptionally well penned by the poet. She celebrates the idea of feminism in much broader and wider concept which is not easily available in books to read. She bravely puts up her idea of feminism as she celebrates each and every woman in her life.. whether it be her mother, grandmother, great grandmother, teachers, cousin sisters or even her caretaker. She boldly writes on topics like surrogacy, divorced women, unmarried women and single mothers. She helps us understand why the choices of every woman should be respected. She clears that feminism is not modernization which is shown on social media. The poet helps us understand that you can be a feminist and still be connected to your roots.
