About The Book: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has boldly stroked new hope for the future of SAARC. Neighbourhood-First policy; an informal SAARC summit during his swearing in ceremony; SAARC satellite, etc. have been the instances of his commitment for this immediate neighbourhood. During COVID-19 Period, India under the leadership of PM Modi has depicted that the SAARC spirit should be sustained and the organisational platform can be used to foster regional cooperation. About The Author: Dr.Susanta Kumar Parida is currently working as a Lecturer and Head, Department of Political Science, Lokanath Mohavidyalaya, Patkura, Kendrapara under Utkal University. Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He received his Ph.D, M.Phil and M.A degrees from the Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. He has 8 years of teaching experience in undergraduate courses in Political Science. He has authored one book and edited three books. He has contributed research papers to various referred Journals. He has presented many research papers in different International; National as well as State Level seminars/conferences. He has the privilege of visiting Thailand and Nepal for research works.
