He has written many literary and political essays for The New York Times, the New York Review Books, the Guardian, the London Review of Books, and the New Yorker. Mishra divides his time between London and India and is currently working on a novel. Foreign Policy magazine named him one of the Top 100 Global Thinkers in the year 2012.
