This 2 volumes work gives a popular history of the various people of India, geographical information, and a narrative of the history of various cities of India. The book is well-illustrated showing panoramas, natives, and monuments. This account of India in the early 20th century provides us with an overview of the country's colorful history and culture, and then examines the various regions in more detail.
