"Destiny is something from which we cannot escape, it is inescapable." This book presents a critical comparison on the role and nature of destiny in Classical Greek and Shakespearean tragedies. This book also deals with, how destiny takes the similar turn and thus leads to the downfall of the protagonist not only in Greek tragedy but also in Shakespearean tragedy in two different ages.
