The importance of Intellectual Property was first recognized in the Paris Convention for the Protection ofIndustrial Property (1883) and the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works (1886). Although India has made a number of changes in its IPR regime to increase efficiency and has also gained a hike in the Global Innovation Index ranking, still it needs to go a long way in improving its IPRregime on a global scale. The various global aspects dealing with Intellectual Property are planned andpublished in this book.
