This book is the 2nd of 4 lecturers delivered by the author under the auspices of the Madras University as a part of the Oriental Research Institute. In this part the lectures explain the Dravidian racial and culture complex, a retrospect and prospect of Dravidian Philology, and the relationship of the Dravidian Language with other old languages like Prakrit, Iranian, Vedic, Pali, Paisali, kashmiri, Sindhi and Lahundi and Khas Kura. This book is a reprint of the 1929 edition.
