The author of this book is Sumaiya tamkeen. In it she has presented different information related to modern Urdu. Through this book, different aspects of modern Urdu poetry and the characteristics of different poet’s poems are explained. The author has beautifully described the whole before and after 1940 and at the same time has tried to express different philosophies and thoughts through the history of criticism and poetry of Urdu poetry. In addition other information have been presented.
