A touch sensors are the electronic sensors that can detect touch. touch sensor is an electronic device used to capture and detect physical touch made by the user. touch sensors are also called as tactile sensors and are sensitive to touch, force or pressure. they operate as a switch when touched. Resistive sensor don't depend on any electrical properties for operation. this is capacitive or resistive sensing technology. sensor is based on TTP 223 1 Channel Capacitive Touch Sensing IC, which has been designed keeping various constructive purposes in mind.touch sensor are commonly used in robotic applications wherein the capacitive or resistive touch enables several features for the robotic movement. It can be used in lamp, alarm, DC motor, DIY project, epoxy craft touch sensor table, etc., the chip has interface facility and option to choose self lock or no lock mode, area of use depends on the user's design and strength, both glue and screw can be used to install the chip, input current is 5.0 Volt to 12 Volt DC, any current greater than 12 Volt will cause the sensor to fail, for best results dc 9 Volt to 11 Volt is ideal.sensor does not support multi- touch compatibility. this chip is not waterproof, size is 43 mm×35 mm.This chip supports only one character LED strip, not for RGB strip.Housing not included with sensor.Install the sensor 6" above the ground. Installing the chip too close to the ground may affect the sensitivity of the sensor. The chip can be installed under 1" thick surfaces like plastic, wood, glass etc, the chip will be activated for 6 seconds from touch and then it will deactivate, it will be activated again on the next touch. But if you want to use it as a switch then short the points shown in the picture. By doing this you will get the facility of one touch on and one touch off.Install carefully for better results.Includes 12" LED strip with sensor chip and sensor copper wire. a capacitor of 50 pf can be used to stabilize the sensitivity of the sensor. this is an optional arrangement depending on the users requirement.This chip is a great tool for creative, experimental, hobbyist, people to use.
