Keeping the Moon is Sarah Dessen’s third young adult novel. Summary of the Book Nicole Sparks or Colie has a few teenage issues. She and her mother spend most of the time living in their car as her mother constantly switches jobs. The mother and the daughter are overweight and this adds to Colie’s life the way it is. But she finally stands up to her bully back home and gives her number to Josh, a cute guy she meets. Will Colie and her mother be able to live a better life? Will Colie’s personal life change because of the new friends she makes? About Sarah Dessen Sarah Dessen is an American author. Her first book was That Summer, and her work, Along for the Ride, was a New York Times best-seller. Dessen has taught at the University of North Carolina.
