A Bihar-born, retired professor of chemistry, Dr. Lala Ashutosh Kumar Saran is a prolific Hindi writer, both in prose and poetry. He is a prodigious painter of the human mind and heart. His stories are calling, gripping and appealing. He uses simple language that makes the readers easily understand his message conveyed through the characters of his stories and establishes a relationship with them. He has to his credit three books that are already published. This short novel Khuddi Se Gudari Tak, is his fourth book.
