Each hour Earth receives enough solar energy to power the electricity needs of the population on Earth for one year.What does the Sun help us with?The Sun provides light and energy necessary for plants to photosynthesize. Photosynthesis is the process plants use to convert energy from the Sun into glucose or food the plant can use. The Sun also drives weather, ocean currents, seasons, and climate.
