Produce large (10-20 cm) and showy florets, which are placed closely in a symmetric fashion on a long (90-150 cm) spike. These are known as exhibition type of gladiolus. Florets are hooded and dainty, 5-9 cm in size well spaced on short (40-45 cm) spike.
